what level are you?

Beginner
0–5 days trail or mountain riding. You have never ridden a snowmobile alone before. Or if you have ridden a snowmobile alone you have not left the parking lot, field, or been on a long/fast trail ride. Zero obstacles should be present during your ride.

Novice
5–20 days of mountain riding. You are comfortable riding your snowmobile on trails and confident using the throttle and brake. You have even gone so far as to venture off trail following others packed tracks and in a few brave bold instances you lived to tell the tail. Obstacles are easily avoided as long as they aren’t jumping trees

Intermediate
20–50 days of mountain riding. You have had the argument with your riding partner that, “you know WHAT TO DO! But you just don’t know how to do it!” Off trail isn’t scary as long as someone is leading. Carving is a skill you have playfully gained but can’t always execute depending on snow conditions. Side hilling makes sense as well, but staying in control of that sidehill seems just out of reach some days.

Advanced
50-100 days of mountain riding. Carving, sidehilling, and using the throttle are no problem for you. You’ve even got the skills to get yourself unstuck. So, what is holding you back from those thrilling epic lines? It is time to get out of the taillights (following) and into the lead!
